Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, start your journey in Colombo, the bustling capital of Sri Lanka. Check into your hotel and freshen up before heading out to explore the city. Visit Gangaramaya Temple, one of the most significant Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka, followed by a stroll at Independence Square. Explore the colonial architecture of the Old Dutch Hospital, now a lively shopping and dining area. In the evening, enjoy a sunset walk at Galle Face Green, a seaside promenade where you can savor local street food. Conclude your day with a delicious Sri Lankan dinner at a fine restaurant before resting for the night.
After breakfast, drive towards Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Along the way, stop at Dambulla Cave Temple, a magnificent rock temple with stunning Buddhist murals and statues. Upon arrival in Sigiriya, check into your hotel and prepare to climb the Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Explore the beautiful frescoes and the ruins of King Kasyapa’s palace at the summit. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely village tour in Hiriwadunna, experiencing traditional Sri Lankan rural life before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Kandy, a city known for its cultural heritage and natural beauty. En route, visit a spice garden in Matale, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices and their medicinal uses. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to your hotel and visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist temple that houses a relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. In the afternoon, take a scenic walk around Kandy Lake and explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, famous for its vast collection of orchids and exotic plants. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance before heading back to your hotel for a relaxing night.
Start your day with a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, one of the most picturesque train journeys in the world. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England” due to its colonial charm, cool climate, and lush tea plantations. Visit a tea factory to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous Ceylon tea and enjoy a freshly brewed cup. Next, explore Gregory Lake, where you can take a boat ride or simply relax by the lakeside. Visit Lover’s Leap Waterfall and take a walk through the charming town before spending the night at a cozy hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, drive to Ella, a small yet vibrant hill town known for its natural beauty. Along the way, stop at Ramboda Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by tea plantations. Upon arrival in Ella, check in to your hotel and visit the Nine Arches Bridge, a beautiful colonial-era railway bridge set amidst lush greenery. Hike up Little Adam’s Peak, an easy trek that offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Later, visit Ravana Falls, a picturesque waterfall steeped in legend. Spend the evening exploring Ella’s cozy cafes before resting for the night.
Depart from Ella in the morning and head towards Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserve. Check in to your safari lodge before embarking on an exciting jeep safari in the afternoon. Yala is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and the elusive Sri Lankan leopard. Enjoy the thrill of spotting these incredible animals in their natural habitat. After an exhilarating safari experience, return to your lodge and unwind with a delicious dinner under the stars.
On the final day, drive to Galle, a historic coastal city famous for its well-preserved Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Stroll through the charming streets lined with colonial-era buildings, boutique shops, and quaint cafes. Visit the Galle Lighthouse for breathtaking ocean views. If time permits, relax at Unawatuna Beach or take a quick visit to Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda before heading back to Colombo. Travel Notes

It is one of the moderate types trekking, because you are going above the 4156 meters at high. That’s why before you decide to do this trek you have to do some training. You will be walking 5 to 8 hrs a day; you need to have very good shoes. As you are going every day 500 to 1000 meters of altitude, you have to drinks lots of Water. During your trek you might get altitude sickness. Please read the symptoms of altitude sickness. If you have symptoms of ATS please tell our guide, so that he can take care of you.
